Queen City Juvenile Pipes & Drums

The Queen City Juvenile Pipes & Drums came about thanks to the dedication of local pipers and drummers in the Charlotte area who wanted to promote the Great Scottish Highland Bagpipes and its percussion accompaniment to the younger generations. We got started by getting our 501 (c) (3) status, putting together a business plan and taking the huge leap off the cliff! The support so far has been very encouraging. Our goal is to have a competitive Juvenile Band by 2016. We welcome anyone between the ages of 8 to18 who are interested in playing the bagpipes, snare drum, tenor drum or bass drum to come visit us.
