Sophia Kovesi Domokos was drawn to tango by its intense emotion and effortless grace. When she began studying tango herself, she came to think of dancing as an act of listening: she loves losing herself in the connection with her partner, while using her whole body to echo the rhythms and melodies of the music. As a teacher, she uses her background in yoga and pilates to help her students become aware of how leading and following feel in their bodies. Her goal is to nurture strong, sensitive followers, and creative, considerate leads, who love tango as much as she does!
