Our name is derived from the celebrated Sherpa’s of the Himalayas; long recognized as intrinsic guides for the perilous mountain landscape. Since the first known Mount Everest climbing expedition in the early 1900s, the legendary wisdom and strength of the Sherpa’s has been integral to the success of such mountain voyages.
In keeping with the Sherpa’s tradition, TechSherpas mission is to guide our clients through the challenging IT landscape. Navigating through ever-changing technologies can be much like climbing a mountain. TechSherpas is here to guide our clients to the highest peaks of information technology ensuring them a successful journey.
Training & Certification Solutions
TechSherpas first began its journey as an IT certification provider to local businesses and individuals. With major vendor partnerships such as Microsoft, Novell, IBM, and Lotus Notes, our business quickly became a widely recognized leader for IT and business skills training in the Southeast.
20 years later, TechSherpas is one of the most recognized IT Training providers in the United States. Our practice of technical instructors, consultants, subject matter experts and business professionals are focused on delivering advanced infrastructure solutions including complex operating system migrations, consolidation services, enterprise messaging and collaboration, design and deployment, directory services architecture as well as platform management and network engineering services.
TechSherpas’ custom training offerings include public and private / onsite solutions blending functional training with a curriculum specifically tailored to meet our client’s needs. Along our IT journey, TechSherpas uncovered a growing need to offer our clients a total IT solution. Beyond training and consulting services, our clients required product support such as hardware, network solutions, peripherals, systems and software products. Today, TechSherpas offers more than 3,000 products from industry leading producers such as Brocade, Check Point, Dell, Hewlett Packard, Ipswitch, Cisco, Linksys, Microsoft, and Plantronics.
Today’s TechSherpas is quite different from our earlier days of offering IT certification programs to local businesses and individuals. With more than 30,000 students trained, 450+ courses offered, 3,000+ products offered and 125 locations, TechSherpas has positioned itself as a total IT solutions provider.
