This is a 4-day course providing the certificate of attainment for the Exemplar Global AU and TL Competency Units. QPS is an Exemplar Global certified training provider for the following competency units contained in this class. Attendees successfully completing this course will receive a certificate of Attainment for these units:
QM – Quality Management (2nd day exam)
AU - Management System Auditing (3rd day exam)
TL - Leading Management Systems Audit Teams (4th day exam)
Attendees will learn how to audit and lead an audit team including how to assess compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and understanding how to plan, conduct, follow-up on, and work with audited organizations to ensure efficient and effective audits. Students gain necessary auditing skills through formal classwork, role-playing, group workshops, and open forum discussions.

- Analyze the purpose and intent of ISO 9000 series of standards and how they are related to each other.
- Distinguish the continuing process of the development of the ISO 9000 series and ISO 19011 and the impact on the audit process.
- Implement the seven quality management principles to meet customer requirements
- Apply the requirement and interpretation of each clause of ISO 9001:2015.
- Breakdown audit evidence that is needed to demonstrate conformity to the ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Assess audit feasibilities, audit risks, and compositions of audit to conduct effective audits
- Validate the effectiveness of the entire QMS, including process approach, customer focus, and continual improvement.
- Execute planning, control process, and supporting activities to be analyzed and evaluated effectively.
- Articulate effective communication skills, leadership abilities, risk-based auditing techniques, management review tips, and internal auditing expertise to evaluate QMS
- Develop audit processes controls for compliance
- Record conformities and nonconformities by determining audit evidence and criteria
- Understand and evaluate audit processes, methods and responsibilities.
- Build corrective action plan to address nonconformance
- Write agenda items and items required for Audit reports
- Demonstrate planning, performing, reporting, and following-up on audits. (By class activities)
- Perform the role and responsibility of the auditor, lead auditor, and the auditee at all stages.
- Define an audit team and identify duties of Lead Auditor preparing reports, delivering meetings, submitting audit reports and assigning roles and responsibilities to auditors/guides/observers.
- Document process audit diagrams and write effective complete audit reports.
- Simulate on site audit (By class activities)
- Conduct successful closing meetings
Prerequisites:
Prerequisites QMS auditing background. Note: All attendees need to study ISO 9001:2015 before attending this class. Technology or Equipment Required: Access to use of computer and internet. All courses are instructor-driven and provided via online or in-person. Certification Requirements: To attain registration as a QMS auditor or lead auditor, attendees must pass the written examination, earn a passing grade) in course assessments, and meet all prescribed professional requirements of attendance, participation, and learning objectives.
