What you'll learn in this audit class:

Attendees will learn how to transition, audit, and implement IATF 16949:2016 by understanding how to plan, conduct, follow-up on audits, and work with audited organizations to ensure efficient and effective audits.

Course Benefits

  1. Understand the purpose and intent of the quality management standards and how they are related to each other.
  2. Understand the seven quality management principles.
  3. Learn changes and new requirements of IATF 16949:2016
  4. Understand the requirement and interpretation of each clause of IATF 16949:2016.
  5. Learn how to identify the audit evidence needed to demonstrate conformity to the requirements.
  6. Learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of the entire QMS, including process approach, customer focus, and continual improvement.
  7. Learn how planning, control process, and supporting activities can be evaluated effectively.
  8. Understand the importance of leadership, risk-based auditing, management review, internal auditing, and the monitoring and measurement of the QMS.
  9. Learn how to audit process controls.
  10. Understand the audit process and responsibilities.
  11. How to plan, perform, report, and follow-up on audits.
  12. Describe the role and responsibility of the auditor and the auditee at all stages.
  13. Develop a checklist and conduct pre-audit tasks. 
  14. How to conduct audits including participation in the opening and closing meetings.
  15. How to develop an audit report.
  16. Understand the corrective action process.
  17. Learn all tools, including DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, Control Plan, MSA & SPC.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for first and second-party auditors and professionals who are involved with corporate internal auditing activities who wish to broaden their knowledge of a total audit process. This course is also recommended to anyone involved with supply chain management or supplier quality control or assurance.

Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY: (AS PER M.G.L. CHAPTER 255, SECTION 13K)

  1. You may terminate this agreement at any time.
  2. If you terminate this agreement within five days you will receive a refund of all monies paid, provided that you have not commenced the program.
  3. If you subsequently terminate this agreement prior to the commencement of the program, you will receive a refund of all monies paid, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  4. If you terminate this agreement during the first quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least seventy-five percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  5. If you terminate this agreement during the second quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least fifty percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  6. If you terminate this agreement during the third quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least twenty-five percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  7. If you terminate this agreement after the initial five-day period, you will be responsible for actual reasonable administrative costs incurred by the school to enroll you and to process your application, which administrative costs shall not exceed fifty dollars or five percent of the contract price, whichever is less. A list of such administrative costs is attached hereto and made a part of this agreement.
  8. If you wish to terminate this agreement, you must inform the school in writing of your termination, which will become effective on the day, such writing is mailed.
  9. The school is not obligated to provide any refund if you terminate this agreement during the fourth quarter of the program.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
