Northern Virginia-based prop stylist and creative director, Rebecca Gallop started A Daily Something in 2011 as a place to share something inspiring every day. Browse and you’ll find everything from DIY projects and beautiful photography, to posts on gatherings with loved ones and posts on thrifting adventures. We love the time Rebecca takes to find and capture beauty in daily tasks and interactions.
We asked Rebecca what she’s planning on learning in 2015. Here are the subjects she’s following this year:
TECHWhy she’s following: “I’m a blogger, yes, but my photoshop, lightroom, etc. skills are lacking! Excited to take a few to develop these skills!” |
COOKINGWhy she’s following: “I’m not a huge baker (I prefer to throw a bunch of ingredients in a pot for soup), so I’d love to take some baking or bread classes!” |
KIDSWhy she’s following: “Would love to attend some family baking classes!” |
ARTWhy she’s following: “I’m looking to learn more about floral design and photography this year, so I’m excited to see what courses are offered in this category!” |
LIFE SKILLSWhy she’s following: “I’m a relatively new mom and homeowner, and I’m always looking to learn more about gardening, health & wellbeing, and managing finances!” |
AND WHEN WE ASKED WHAT SHE’LL TAKE FIRST?
“I’d love to take a gardening class…and I’d love to start with A Kitchen Garden Plan. One of my goals for 2015 is to start a garden and be more intentional and responsible about what my family and I consume! “
