The Technical Institute of America has a passion for helping individuals and businesses learn technology. Their classes are licensed by the New York State Education Department and accredited by the Better Business Bureau. TIA’s course provides hands-on training, and teachers earn an average score of 8.7 out of 9 on classroom teacher evaluations. Instructors will break difficult tests down to step-by-step instructions, all the while keeping the material interesting. They will give you helpful techniques and provide valuable context for concepts. Your confidence when taking the exam will be greatly improved. The PMP/CAPM Certification class is online or in person in New York or Washington DC. It is four sessions long. You will get training for both PMP and CAPM exams that meets the requirement for 35 hours of project management education required by PMI before the exam. In order to sit for the course, you will also need a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of project management experience. 4,500 hours of this experience should have been spent leading and directing projects. Other great classes at the Technical Institute of America include a basic Microsoft Powerpoint course, Microsoft Project, and a course on navigating Quickbooks Basic.
