Cheese & Wine 101

What you'll learn in this wine & cheese pairing class:

Students will learn cheese basics, including milk types, textures and flavors as well as how to shop for, care for, and serve fine cheeses. This single-session course also teaches students how to choose wines that compliment each cheese type.

Our fromager will  provide a roadmap for matching various cheese types with the wines that best suit them. You'll be invited to sample some of the cheese and wine pairings and discover marriages that suit your own personal taste.

The class was fantastic! I didn't know it was this easy to make my own mozzarella! Will definitely be making this for future dinner parties.

Cheese and Wine: Search for "Perfect" Pairings

My wife and I had a great time! This was our first class ever and will not be our last. Our instructor Max really knows his cheese and the wine is both strong and tasty! Refills galore!

French Cheese & Wine

This was my first time attending a wine and cheese course, and I am very, very happy that I tried it! The instructor, Jessica, was friendly and informative. The wines were high quality, as were the cheeses, and it was fascinating to see how they paired together. I will definitely go to another class again.

Spain, Portugal, Wine & Cheese

Fun and informative! Great cheeses and the instructor, Max was awesome. The wines were interesting too, but not my favorite Spanish wines. But an interesting variety to experience with the cheeses.

Cheese & Wine 101

I really enjoyed this course. The instructor was very passionate and knowledgeable about what he was teaching, but also approachable and casual. The only pitfall was that the organizers seemed to have lost my reservation, and told me when I arrived that there may not be enough seats for me to be able to take part. In the end, though, they got it sorted, and I took away great memories and some knowledge to boot! I just registered for the 201 course next month :)

Sexy Cheese & Sumptuous Wines

This class was super fun. The cheeses were great. Artisanal provided participants with handouts that further explain parings, which I thought was helpful. I would definintely recommend this class to anyone who loves wine and cheese.
