Beginning TIG welding w/ Jim

What you'll learn in this welding class:

Come down to our shop and see for yourself how fun it is to be able to make slow, nice welds, with Jim, the newest member of our teaching team.

TIG is the new MIG.  The coolest thing about TIG welding is that TIG allows the welder to see exactly what is going on as a weld is executed, up close and personal, without being showered in splatter. Plus you don't have to wear those bulky gloves.Yep. You know those soft, nice leather gloves you bought for that other welding class and burned the crap out of yourself? Well those were meant for TIG.Wear long sleeves and jeans and no open toed shoes. Please dress for the weather (if it's cold ouside, it's cold inside!) and remember--this is a filthy, working shop. You will get dirty.
