Class Description

Description

What you'll learn in this watercolor class:

Capturing the vibrancy of fall foliage is the primary goal of this class. We will focus on color and the elements of design to create interesting and successful compositions while retaining the transparency and immediacy of the medium.

Students who have sketched and made notes outdoors may further develop their fall landscape in the classroom. We will also look at works by traditional and contemporary watercolorists for a broad perspective on the medium, and each class will have both individual and group critiques.

This class is best for students with some experience with watercolor.
