What you'll learn in this theater class:
The monthly performance workshop is for anyone who wants to get comfortable singing and playing in front of others and get real-time feedback on their performance in a safe, friendly group environment. We will start with a group warm-up that teaches centering breathing techniques for pre-performance, then move into that month's "lesson." Next, each student will have time to perform a portion of a song (or poem, or whatever you like!) in front of the class, getting feedback from the instructor and workshopping the piece.
The goal is to get you acclimated to performing confidently in front of others, connect to the material and your audience, and leave the stage feeling good about what you did. It takes people months and years to get really good at this stuff and there is absolutely a learning curve that you can only start mastering through making mistakes and taking risks! If you want to become a better performer - this workshop is for you.

Refund Policy
- Full refund less 5% cancellation fee or full credit for another session of classes are available until 4 business days before your 1st class begins.
- If you cancel your registration 2 business days before your 1st or 2nd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given.
- If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no credit is available.
The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration.
If the school cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by email and/or phone before the class start date, and we will issue school credit. If you would like a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a refund. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate instrument to learn!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
