What you'll learn in this test prep class:
Beginning in January 1, 2014, the GED test as we now know it will become obsolete. In its place the New York State Education Department will be offering the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), a new test to measure readiness for college.
The new test will be available on computer as well as a paper and pencil version, but by the end of 2014, TASC will become computer based, that is there will no longer be a paper version. With this in mind, test takers will have to become proficient in computer skills. This course offers you “hands on” experience in using the computer in preparation to take the test.
