Review what you learned in Basics 1 and hit the water sooner with a strong emphasis on developing an efficient forward stroke and better boat control. You will become much more aware of connecting the stroke from your toes to your paddle blades. We will work through drills and conclude with a paddle against the tidal current and a short tour.
Continue to develop your paddling techniques from Basics 1 and 2. You will be coached through a dynamic hour of drills in the protected embayment and add techniques based on your coach’s discretion, including sprints, bracing, cross bow strokes, surfer turns, and buoy turns.
