Level 3 Intro to Adr: Animation Voice-over 3 Week Online with Ned Lott, Casting Director, Voice Director and Producer
In our new Intro to ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) animation voice over class, top VO CD and Director Ned Lott will take you through a creative and fun journey on how ADR works and how you can start working in this lucrative area of the business.
Ned has a wide range of producing, voice directing and casting experience for animation. He was a Producer, Voice Director, and Casting Director with the Walt Disney Studios on seven Studio Ghibli titles, including Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar™ nominated theatrical release “Howl’s Moving Castle” starring Christian Bale. Other notable accomplishments include casting Liam Neeson as the voice of “Aslan” for “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”.
EVENT OVERVIEW:
In your first class, Ned will start with an overview of how ADR works and then share with you some simple exercises to help you get your ADR technique perfected.
In your next two classes, you'll Zoom into an actual ADR studio in Burbank, California near the Walt Disney Studios, and actually perform ADR on animated and live action movie scenes.
For the grand finale, you'll view your movie clips with your voice coming out of the characters mouths wondering if it’s really your voice or the original voices.
If you’re a voice over actor, ADR might just become your bread and butter. Don't miss this exciting, one-of-a-kind class at Actors Connection!
Limited to 12 V/O actors.
This class is for adults and teens (13+).
*PLEASE NOTE: For weeks two and three, AC will not be sending zoom links - Ned will be sending zoom links directly to you*
