What you'll learn in this business training:
This class concentrates on what design research is, at what point of your process should you begin the research and the methodologies for it. We will provide techniques and tips on how to generate a successful design research, and re-think your design challenge.
We define design as the act of seeing something that we want to be better, and then the activity of making it better. We believe that all businesses start when there is a defined need, and when it is about creating something that matters, first the matter has to be defined. This is why as designers we must research.
For non-designers, this class will cover basics of design research and the ways of how to think differently about products that surrounds you.
We'll present a one-hour lecture with real-world examples. And follow that with a 30 minutes hands-on research exercise.
