Description
What you'll learn in this improv class:
This class is a 6 week introduction to the world of long form improv! Long form improv is when a group of people weave stories and scenes together to create an on-the-spot mini improvised play. This class will use collaborative games and exercises to introduce the participant to the beginning skills of long form improv: how to listen better, improve memory skills, speak confidently and from the heart, and how to have better conversations. Improvisational theater has been known to foster improved mental health through collaborative games and listening skills and the building of community and camaraderie through laughter!
No improv or theater experience necessary! All adults are welcome!
Refund Policy
Exchanges or credits are allowed up to 48 hours before the class begins. There are no credits or exchanges after that time period or after the class begins. In the event of the course not being filled enough to run or an emergency on FoHi Improv's end and the entire course needs to be cancelled, students can choose to have either a credit towards another course of the same value, or a full refund. If one class is cancelled due to an emergency, all efforts will be made to either find a substitute or to reschedule the class at a time that is convenient to as many as possible. Credit expires after one year of being issued.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
