What you'll learn in this tour:
Join us for a guided tour in Spanish of The Noguchi Museum.
The Noguchi Museum was designed and created by the Japanese American sculptor Isamu Noguchi (1904–1988). The museum was opened to the public in 1985. Its foundation was intended to preserve and display Noguchi’s sculptures, architectural models, stage designs, drawings, and furniture designs. The two-story, 24,000 square feet (2,200 m2) museum and sculpture garden is located in Long Island City, one block from the Socrates Sculpture Park.
During this unique experience, you will have the opportunity to learn about the remarkable story of Japanese artist Isamu Noguchi. You will acquire new vocabulary and expressions through organic conversation with liked minded amigos and gaze upon incredible art. The tour will be conducted in Spanish by the native-Spanish speaking museum educator, Sol Aramendi.
The tour-lecture will be mainly in Spanish with English used just for clarification of some topics.
Who: Anybody who can understand Spanish and is interested in art.
Meeting place: Meet Jorge by the reception area of the Museum at around 10:45 am.
Refund Policy
Refunds
- Tuition fees for our conversation sessions (TALK) are refundable if requested in writing at [email protected] prior to the start of the class.
- Tuition fees for private lessons are refundable if requested in writing at [email protected].
- Introductory Lessons cannot be refunded.
Please note that all lessons taken by the student’s program will be discounted from the refund and charged as single sessions and there’s a $35 processing fee.
Rescheduling and Cancellations
- To cancel or re-schedule individual or a series of sessions, students must notify CourseHorse at least 2 business days before the day the session is scheduled otherwise the session will be charged.
- Private lessons can be scheduled at your convenience for up to six months after registration depending on our availability.
- All small group courses dates are as indicated; no make-up classes may be scheduled for these courses.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
