What you’ll learn in this salsa class:

We focus on learning the basic salsa timing, steps and partner connection.

Course description:

This class is for students who have little or no experience dancing salsa.

Salsa is one of the hottest dances on the club scene today. Characterized by sexy hip motion, compelling rhythms and lots of turns. Some popular artists of salsa music are Mark Anthony, Victor Manuelle and El Gran Combo. Some great tunes are Mambo Yo Yo, Lloraras and Caballo Viejo.

Note: No street shoes permitted on the dance floor. Please bring a change of shoes. (No rubber soles please)

Teacher: Francis

Owner, founder and head instructor of Dance Fever Studios, Francis is an expert in salsa, hustle, argentine tango, ballroom and latin. His specialty is leaders and followers technique in social dance. Francis has performed and taught at numerous corporate events, weddings and private parties. His latest performances were at the over 1,000 seat Ziegfeld Theatre in NYC for the 20th year anniversary of Dirty Dancing and 30th year anniversary of Saturday Night Fever. Francis has also been in or on News 12, NY1, The Daily News, The Bay News and Caribbean Life.
