What you'll learn in this monologue class:
Have you ever thought about turning your life’s trials and tribulations into a hit one-person show? In these one and two-day intensives, actress and writer Lauren Weedman will show you how to make your solo-show so hysterical and moving, the audience will be putty in your hands! In this class, you’ll learn how to transform personal events into compelling tales, how to spice up your truth with just the right lie, and how to pull your show together with a compelling theme.
Through fun, in-class writing exercises and targeted feedback, you’ll build a treasure chest of images, moments, characters, and music that will provide the essential elements for your show. Lauren will also share her secrets for getting your show produced. By the end of this class, you’ll have laid the foundations for your solo-show, and it won’t be long before the audience is clapping and shouting, “Bravo!” just for you!

All sales are final and there are no refunds.
Credit may be offered based on class availability. If you can’t come to class, call or email us as far in advance as possible. We will do everything we can to fill your spot, but we can’t make any guarantees. Credit eligibility is not based upon your reason for being unable to attend a class; it is based upon the timing of your credit request and our ability to fill your spot. If we find someone to take your place, you will receive class credit minus a $25 processing fee for 1 day classes and $50 processing fee for long classes. In that case, your class credit will be good for a year from the original sign up date and will expire after that. Otherwise, you will forfeit your payment/payments.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
