Shea Lewallen

Shannon Lewallen graduated from as a from USC with a B.A. in International Relations. While getting her degree she dedicated countless hours to athletics and dance where she acquired the nickname "Shea Butter," as she embraced the challenge of gracefully combining her knowledge of human movement and embarked on her dance journey after an intense career in Division I Track & Field. Her goal was to stay healthy and to develop a more feminine physique while still staying fit. Shea grew up as a gymnast, dancer, and overall dedicated athlete. After performing for 5 years for Dance Peninsula Ballet, Shea turned her focus in high school to sports while dancing for fun on the side. She was captain of her tennis and track & field teams and went on to compete as a pole vaulter and a hepathlete on the Track Team for the University of Southern California. To cross train for pole vault Shea trained and worked as a gymnastics coach at South Bay Gymnastics in Torrance, specializing in beam and floor exercise dance technique and choreography. She worked with USC dance professor and robot choreographer Dr. Margo Apostolos to choreograph and produce shows for a dance troupe the duo put together, composed of USC athletes. Shea spent the Summer of 2005 in Beijing, China choreographing and teaching trainers for the grand opening of O'Zone Fitness.
