Nikki Steen

Nikki Steen began her career in fitness as a competitive gymnast. From gymnastics, Nikki developed skills in strength training, endurance, flexibility, balance, and discipline. From her 25 years as a dancer, she honed those same skills and also learned about proper technique and alignment, injury prevention, and passion for the process. From life, Nikki has learned that a "practical spiritual" approach works best. She believes in applying the functional disciplines of her extensive fitness training while maintaining a healthy respect for the human body, mind, and spirit. She hopes to integrate these aspects of each client's program and to increase each client's own body consciousness and intuitive knowledge of what it feels like to aggressively challenge the body in a healthy, non-abusive manner. In so doing, Nikki believes she can help her clients to achieve maximum physical fitness and strength, optimum health, and a well-earned self-confidence.
