Luisa Frias

Teaches at SWERVE

Luisa has been dancing since she could walk. Born into a family of professional dancers, she traveled the world on tour with some of the world's best dancers. She took her first ballet lesson at the age of three and has had the chance to train in Ballet and all types of dance with working professionals on the road. Picking up different techniques along the way, Luisa has gained a wide variety of knowledge of world of dance and performance. She started teaching dance at the Desert Shores Dance Academy in Las Vegas, at the age of 18. She also taught at The point Dance Center where she led an award winning dance team. Luisa performed in shows on the Las Vegas strip and taught dance for 8 years before moving to sunny California. Since moving to Los Angeles and finding Swerve, she has broadened her study to fitness. After having her first child at the end of 2009, she has been training with the many great and highly qualified staff At SWERVE, opening her up to the fitness world. What ever style of movement you choose, Luisa believes that dancing is freedom of expression, a form of meditation and a fun way to keep yourself in shape!
