John Valenzuela was born in Mexico and moved to L.A. in the 80's. He started teaching aerobics at Jack LaLanne’s Gyms back in 1985 in Glendale and Pasadena. When John moved to NYC in 1997, he started learning more about the Latin rhythms, and had a natural ease with them. For over 13 years, John has been teaching Latin Impact, Latin Dance, and Zumba at various gyms, health clubs and studios including Bally’s, New York Sport Clubs in Queens and the surrounding areas. He’s been back in L.A. since 2008 and has been stepping it out ever since.
