What you'll learn in this knitting class:
In the following three sessions you will come back and work through your sweater from cast on to finishing. Because this class is ongoing, your sessions do not have to be used consecutively.Finally get over your fear of sweater knitting & let us help you every step of the way. You can bring a pattern you always wanted to try, or we can help you find the perfect pattern. In the first session you will be measured and we will discuss how to adapt an existing pattern to fit you perfectly, or (if you have previous sweater knitting experience) how to design a simple sweater for yourself. We will walk you through yarn selection & swatching. Prerequisite: Must know how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off, know simple increases & decreases.Materials: Must be purchased at the Lion Brand Yarn Studio. 10% off all class supplies.

Knitting 1: Beginning Knitting
As a person who has never picked up a pair of knitting needles before, I found this class to be a very good starting point. The teacher was very helpful and knowledgable and I thought the class was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend and I look forward to taking additional classes at the Lion Brand Studio

Intro to Needle Felting
The class was good. I learned to make a 3D felted cacti. The teacher was very nice and helpful.

Crochet 1: Beginning Crochet
Basically, I have been looking for crafty classes in New York City. I've found that it's difficult to locate the various studios that teach craft skills in the area. Course Horse, obviously, is terrific for compiling many offerings into one website. I'd never heard of Lion Brand Studio before, but the time and location of the class fit my schedule. It seems like a great store/workshop, and I look forward to going there again.
