What you'll learn in this knitting class:
This class is for those who knit OR crochet. For those of you do both, you can use knit AND crochet in this class. Learn to create a fabric using different textures, stitches, and colors in a multi-directional way.Free form work can be approached in three different ways, lining method, mesh method, and template method. In class we will learn about the different methods, but concentrate on making a small bag using the lining method. Prerequisite: Whether students decide to knit, crochet or combine both crafts, they do need to know the basics. This is not a class for raw beginners. Homework: You will be required to work in advance of class.

Knitting 1: Beginning Knitting
As a person who has never picked up a pair of knitting needles before, I found this class to be a very good starting point. The teacher was very helpful and knowledgable and I thought the class was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend and I look forward to taking additional classes at the Lion Brand Studio

Intro to Needle Felting
The class was good. I learned to make a 3D felted cacti. The teacher was very nice and helpful.

Crochet 1: Beginning Crochet
Basically, I have been looking for crafty classes in New York City. I've found that it's difficult to locate the various studios that teach craft skills in the area. Course Horse, obviously, is terrific for compiling many offerings into one website. I'd never heard of Lion Brand Studio before, but the time and location of the class fit my schedule. It seems like a great store/workshop, and I look forward to going there again.
