What you'll learn in this graphic design fundamentals training:
In today’s competitive web environment, designing an interface that is both engaging and easy to navigate is a necessity. This course, which is tailored to non-designers, will teach students about the fundamental concepts of graphic design and how to discuss these ideas using key terminology.
Understanding design concepts such as typography, color theory, and balanced compositions will not only help students convey their ideas to designers, but also develop their ability to critique designs and identify what works and what doesn’t.
We will cover the following:
- Color theory
- Balance and weight
- Grids and layouts
Session II - [Concept development]
Prereqs & Preparation: Please bring a laptop and any samples you would like to review together and receive design feedback.
