Level 2 is for those who have had some French before although they might need a quick review of the basics. They feel a little bit comfortable saying a few things about themselves in French, even if only at a very basic level in the present tense with a very limited vocabulary.

All FluentBrooklyn professors are young, fun, passionate and really good at what they do. We usually have teachers that are NOT native speakers teaching lower level classes on purpose because our theory is that someone who has gone through the experience of learning the language themselves can explain it better to you. We usually have native speakers teaching higher-level classes to help you perfect it. These awesome teachers know how to help students understand the language in a way that gets them conversational as soon as possible.

Thanksgiving Cheese & Wine Workshop
My friends and I had a great time! It was a very relaxed vibe which made it less intimidating to ask the 100 questions we had about cheese and pairings. We also enjoyed learning French as we moved along. And the fluentnyc discount is definitely a winner!! Both teachers (wine and french) were extremely knowledgeable and undoubtedly professional. My only suggestion would be more wine please! The wines served were tasty but some of the cheeses were robust and would have paired well with more wine rather than water :) I would return to take another course. Thank you.

Learning a language isn’t easy…but it sure is a lot easier, not to
mention much more fun, when learning doesn’t feel like “school.” At
Fluent City, learning French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German,
Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Hebrew from our awesome and
energetic professors feels more like hanging out with a new friend
who knows another language and is really good at teaching it to
you. Fluent City is your linguistic oasis!
