What you'll learn in this fashion design class:

This workshop covers the following and more:

Basic tools and User Interface of Photoshop
Resolution issues with respect to printing and repeating patterns
Synchronizing color to insure integrity of prints
Scanning fabric swatches, re-coloring and altering them
Creation of digital patterns (also called procedural) within Photoshop
Creating seamless patterns
Adding and manipulating the weave
Output procedures (color separation)
Creating a presentational document that will print high quality and email
Students will be using Brother International 'Direct to Garment' printing technology to print our designs to fabric/textiles at the end of class! (Printable area for this is 14" wide by 16" long) Printable textiles must NOT be water resistant! We will provide a basic cotton twill for those participants who do not have their own fabric(s)
Students will be using Adobe Illustrator CS6, we encourage you to bring your laptop, but you will need at least CS6.

All seminars/workshops MUST be pre-paid. We reserve the right to cancel a seminar due to low enrollment. For any seminars we cancel, we will notify all registrants in advance via email and may provide a full refund upon request or apply to other FBI presentations.
