What you'll learn in this dreamweaver training:

Kick your skills up a notch and learn how to create more complex layouts and effects using CSS. In this training you’ll master floats, sprites (to speed up pages), Server-Side Includes (SSI) to manage content across pages and so much more.

We’ll take CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) way beyond text styling and see what they can really do. You’ll center align div tags and create 2 and 3 column layouts using relative positioning. You’ll learn how to float elements into position, how “inline” versus “block” elements work, how to create better rollovers with CSS instead of JavaScript, and much more. CSS page layout gives you the ultimate power to change a website's entire design by changing a few styles.

Throughout the projects you’ll learn how to deal with Internet Explorer problems to get your pages to display the same across browsers.

Reviews of Classes at Noble Desktop

6 out of 6

Attended: Intro to Adobe Photoshop

The instructor was very knowledgeable and informative. I would highly recommend it, but with two caveats: 1. Be prepared- the place was packed, which you can't really complain about since it's free. Definitely get there early and bring a laptop of your own so you can follow along. The course is lecture-style and you're not guaranteed a seat. 2. The class is very, very basic- which should be evident from the name, but be warned. I didn't learn anything new in the first half so I left after the mid-way break.

Attended: Adobe InDesign CC

I really liked this class. The teacher kept it interesting (even amusing!), he was very organized and up beat. I really liked the way the class was structured, the course book is great, the exercises are clear and varied. I would definitely take another class at Noble Desktop.

Attended: Photoshop Color Management

Great course, really demystified Color Management for me. You also leave with a nice booklet and cd that explains the concepts.

Attended: Digital Publishing Suite (DPS) & InDesign CS6

"The class gives you the basis of the DPS foundamental tools and also help you to understand how to approach when you start to design a digital magazine project. Also Ethan, the teacher, explain everything perfectly and also help you a lot on every questions or doubt you have."

Attended: Digital Publishing Suite (DPS) & InDesign CS6

Perfectly paced - hands on. Exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend
