Drawing Out Your Soul Through Touch Drawing

Touch Drawing is a simple but powerful technique that encourages the immediate, direct expression of feelings and sensations in drawings. The use of the hands as living tools and the speed of the process put us totally in the moment and bypass the judging mind, allowing us to open to inspiration and tap into the deepest parts of our being, which we can then see reflected in our series of drawings.

Today Deborah will create a safe, sacred atmosphere while we draw, guide us with non-intrusive suggestions and evocative live music (heartbeat drum, voice, singing bowls, chimes), and also lead us in some creativity-enhancing vocal toning, movement and writing exercises. Touch Drawing, a great catalyst for creativity and spiritual cultivation, can also be a highly effective complementary healing modality in social work, therapy, hospice and grief work. It also can assist in a wide range of medical settings (e.g. stroke, Parkinsons, cancer, pediatric and special needs patients, etc.). 

No artistic skill is necessary!
