What you'll learn in this craft class:
This week-long course combines skill-based art classes with an opportunity to receive hands-on internship and community service hours by working side by side with our Teaching Artists during the museum’s general hours.
Each morning begins with an intimate lesson that focuses on a fundamental principle of fine art, introducing advanced techniques and use of materials in printmaking, sculpture, fashion design and much more. During the afternoon, young artists will be responsible for proposing a guided workshop inspired by the morning lesson.
In this class, artists will have the opportunity to develop their own creative curriculum, manage material prep, and execute lessons during public hours. Each day will end with a meeting and critique to discuss successes as well as address concerns or issues and responses to working on the floor.
Note: Class runs from 10 AM-4 PM, with supervised play from 9-10 AM and 4-5 PM included.

Refund Policy
Refund Policy: CMA is not responsible for providing make-up classes or issuing refunds for programs missed as a result of illness, emergencies, or other events beyond our control. If you would like to cancel your enrollment in a class, CMA will provide you with a full refund minus a $75 registration fee up to two weeks prior to the start of class. Within two weeks of the start of the class, CMA will provide you with a full refund minus the $75 registration fee ONLY if CMA is able to fill your child’s place in the class. If CMA is unable to fill the place in the class, the class will be non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy: CMA reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. If a class has 0 students enrolled, you will be notified of the cancellation 4 weeks prior to the start of the class. If a class has 3 students or under enrolled, you will be notified of the cancellation 2 weeks prior to the start date. If CMA cancels a class that your child is enrolled in, you will have the option to switch classes within the program or receive a full refund. Please sign up early to ensure classes proceed as scheduled.
