Description
What you'll learn in this craft class:
During this unique workshop, students will press luxurious silk velvet and shimmering silk organza petals and leaves, make bundles of stamens for flower centers, fashion a flower calyx, use alcohol inks for realistic shading and finish stems with a special tissue paper that resembles the paper wrapped stems on flowers from the 1920s and 1930s.
Join us for a day of learning the fine art of millinery flower making using reproductions of antique flower petals and leaf molds.
This class is for all skill levels, beginners are welcome. A choice of several colors is offered so each elegant flower completed at the end of the workshop will be unique.
