CCNA Routing & Switching (ICND1 and ICND2) v3.0 Combo

This is a hands-on Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching course. The CCNA Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers that helps maximize your investment in foundational networking knowledge and increase the value of your employer's network. CCNA Routing and Switching is for Network Specialists, Network Administrators, and Network Support Engineers with 1-3 years of experience. 

The CCNA Routing and Switching validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks.

This course will consist of:

• Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1 V 3.0 – ICND1 (Entry)
• Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 2 V 3.0 – ICND2 (Associate)

Course Objectives

For ICND1

• Describe network fundamentals and build simple LANs
• Establish Internet connectivity
• Manage network device security
• Expand small to medium sized networks with WAN connectivity
• Describe IPv4 and IPv6 basics
• Understand foundational knowledge of network layers 1-3 for core routing and switching implementation and other advanced technologies
• Learn about wireless controllers, access points and network functions of firewalls

For ICND2

• Operate a medium-sized LAN with multiple switches supporting VLANs, switch stacking, trunking, spanning tree protocols and chassis aggregation
• Support Cisco network deployments and maintain the on-going operational network services
• Troubleshoot IP connectivity
• Define characteristics, functions, and components of a WAN
• Configure and troubleshoot EIGRP and OSPF in IPv4 and IPv6 environments
• Describe Syslog, SNMP, IOS images and licenses and manage Cisco device configurations
• Understand QoS, virtualization, WAN network programmability, how cloud services interact and impacts enterprise networks

Prerequisites:

For ICND1:

• Required: Basic IP Address knowledge
• Required: Basic knowledge of Computer and Internet Usage
• Required: Basic PC Operating System Navigation knowledge

For ICND2:

• Required: Implementing basic IPv6 connectivity and WAN
• Required: Implementing Internet connectivity
• Required: Implementing local area networks, internet connectivity 
• Required: Managing and securing network devices
• Required: Understanding network fundamentals
