Description

What you'll learn in this block printing class:

Learn the ancient technique of block printing! In this class we will learn how to carve and print by hand from rubber and linoleum blocks, following this traditional form of printmaking.

Bring your ideas, drawings, inspiration images, or just come as you are ready to experiment and enjoy. By the end of the session, participants will have garnered the basic tools and resources to continue exploring and making prints at home.

Important Things to Note:
No experience necessary; this class is particularly geared towards those who would not necessarily consider themselves artists, but want to learn a new skill and be surprised by how they can make beautiful art.

Are the materials included in the cost of the class? No.
An additional materials fee of $20 (payable in cash at the workshop).
