What you'll learn in this beginner knitting class:
This beginner’s class is a complete knitting primer that will start you off with perfect technique and lots of inspiration. It will prepare you for many of our fabulous other classes offered throughout the year.
This four-session class will teach you how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease and bind off. You’ll make your first project and learn enough about the basics of pattern reading and gauge to dive into more complicated patterns.
Class size is limited to allow for lots of individual attention.
Note:
Advance preparation may be required, depending on the class topic. Details will be provided at least one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, or more if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Materials must come from the school, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. Classes must have at least three participants in order to run.
