Description

What you'll learn in this basic cooking class:

Master the most useful and widely used technique in cooking. We create a fabulous meal based entirely on this art: Seared Sea Scallops with White Wine and Shallots, Pan-Seared Hanger Steak with Red Wine Sauce, Sautéed Potatoes, Garlic-Sautéed Spinach and Caramelized Pears.

School Notes:
We don't have any age restrictions on either our classes or events. We take people of all ages, but those under 21 years of age are not allowed to consume wine or any alcoholic beverages.

Refund Policy

We have a strict 8 business days cancellation policy for all of our events. Up 8 business days before the event, a full refund less a 5% processing fee will be provided. Date and event transfers are allowed up to 4 business days before the event subject to a $25 per ticket transfer fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

    There are lots of great things to say about this class staring with Abby, the chef/owner of Camaje. She is a wonderful teacher that obviously loves teaching and cooking. There was lots of useful information and I wish I had brought a notepad with me. The menu she planned was so delicious and we loved taking part in its preparation. If you go during a cold day though, make sure to take a sweater because the restaurant and event the kitchen are pretty cold. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn good basic skills. And don't be afraid to ask questions. Abby is a wealth of information.

    Wanted to get more of an understanding in the technique of sauteing. Very hands on & the food was amazing. You also learn about the best pans to use for sauteing.
