Discover the Best Asian Cooking Classes in NYC

New York City is full of Asian restaurants offering food from all over the continent. You are probably familiar with sushi and ramen noodles from Japan, dumplings from China, savory biryani and naan from India, sweet and sour pad Thai, fresh and crunchy Vietnamese salads, and Korean kimchi full of garlic and chili powder. You can learn to make these dishes at home through CourseHorse Asian cooking classes. Choose in-person classes, live online sessions, or book a group event for friends or family.

Why You Should Learn Asian Cooking in NYC

Many people choose to learn Asian cooking because of an interest in the various cultures throughout the continent. Perhaps you want to connect to your heritage and explore the dishes your relatives made when you were young or before you were born. Maybe you want to learn to prepare the dishes you ate when you traveled to a region of Asia, or perhaps you are getting ready to go.

Another reason some people learn Asian cooking is because many of the regional cuisines are easy to adapt to special diets. India has a centuries-old vegetarian tradition and these dishes are easily changed to conform to vegan or gluten-free requirements. Most Asian dishes use less meat, few dairy products, and lots of fresh vegetables, which is generally healthier than a traditional Western diet of meat and potatoes.

Maybe you are interested in Asian cooking classes so you can find a job in a restaurant or start a small business making dumplings or moon cakes. If you’ve always dreamed of selling ramen from a food truck, signing up for an Asian cooking class could get you started on that road.

In-Person Asian Cooking Classes & Schools in NYC
