Triple Threat Training & Audition Prep.

This course is 12 weeks total, 6 weeks of Musical Theatre Training & Audition Prep Program (Nov 4-Dec 20) that leads into a 6 week winter workshop production (Jan 13-Feb22) on stage with the Three Act Theater Company members. Triple Threat Training is designed to offer the singer / dancer / actor technical training that will prepare them for their roles in the winter musical production of “Fish In A Tree.” The Triple Threat Training will allow each student actor the room to reach their own next steps in their performance work, and provide the opportunity to work along side adult company members who are also continuing to train & reach their next level of mastery. Within each discipline there will be attention paid to the development of character & acting choices that are living inside of the music and words of the shows libretto as they begin to work on repertory that will appear in the spring production. All students will appear alongside adult company members in Three Act Theater’s original musical workshop production of “Fish In A Tree.”

This ‘by audition only’ program offers the very unique opportunity to train side by side with adult company members & then perform with them in the premiere workshop production of the new musical “Fish In A Tree” by Janine Robledo & Micah Joel – which will eventually appear on our 2015-2016 Season as a fully produced show.

Every day November & December, students will have dance/choreo class, vocal &/or acting classes that prepare & train them physically and vocally for the task of become a Triple Threat in Musical Theater. Each class will begin with technique building & continue to move towards repertoire for our workshop production, while preparing them for future auditions in the biz.  In January & February we shift our focus to a production rehearsal process for the winter workshop production of “Fish In A Tree” to be presented February 20-22.
